Our R&D Team tested different material combinations for replacement parts.
While stainless steel seemed most promising at the beginning of our tests, the ceramic-coated parts performed better long-term: The hard coating makes them very resistant to wear while the aluminum core offers optimal thermal characteristics to ensure the best performance of the VOLCANO HYBRID.
Therefore, we decided to use ceramic-coated aluminum for the replacement parts as well as the future series production parts for the VOLCANO HYBRID.
