The difference between the vaporizer VOLCANO MEDIC 2 and VOLCANO HYBRID is that the VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is a certified medical device for the inhalation of cannabinoids. The device was tested and certified according to the standard DIN EN 60601 - safety for medical electrical equipment.
The VOLCANO HYBRID, on the other hand, is a household device intended to be used with different herbs (e.g., eucalyptus, lavender, camomile, lemon balm,..). It was tested for the safety requirements of the standard DIN EN 60335 - safety for household and similar electrical appliances.
The built up of both units is similar. The scope of delivery is slightly different. Another difference is that the VOLCANO HYBRID works with Bluetooth which allows it to connect to the STORZ & BICKEL App.
